Day in the life as a Dog trainer for Paws & Peaks adventures! Dotty edition! ☀️🌿✨

The day kicked off dark & early (yes, before sunrise 🌙) with a burn class with @redfoxpilates , to get the human exercise sorted 😮‍💨

Then it was straight into adventure mode picking up the ever-enthusiastic Wednesday favourites! Baxter & Barney, tails wagging & ready to roll! 🚙🐕🐕

Today I had Baxter as my training focus. As always we continued working on his reactivity journey, increasing handler focus, impulse control & laying down strong obedience foundations! & as always, he absolutely nailed it! 💪
Seeing his confidence build with every session is such a rewarding part of this job.

Between the training, there was free time, sniffs, & cuddles to balance it all out. 🌿🐾 (cuddles are Baxters all time favourite)

After dropping the boys home (tired & happy! The best combo), it was time for a bit of the less glamorous side of things… cleaning out Otto! 🧽🐕 But a tidy adventure van means a happy trainer, so no complaints here. (This is also Bumis ultimate favourite because he gets to eat all of the leftover treats! Keep your eyes peeled for him cramming himself into a medium kennel to get to the treats before Nutmeg 🙈)

We wrapped up the day with a cozy family dinner hosted by Mum & Dad. (I’m pretty sure we only get invited because we bring the dogs)

Real progress is being made & we are pumped! We are only 2 months out from opening now & Otto’s revamp has been completed! We’re now on to building the kennels!! 🐾

This has been a huge process & an even bigger effort & we are infinitely grateful for our friends & family (luckily all of which are very handy) for taking time out of their lives to help us bring our dream to life by helping us get Otto ready to hit the streets! 🚌💨

Happy Fibreglass day! 🖌️

Layer one of the fibreglass is down & Otto is feeling better than ever! This process has taken a few days & I want to give a massive shout out to my Dad, Poohman for putting in hours today to get the big layer of fibreglass done while the rest of us weren’t able to help! 🫶🏼

Our whole business so far has been a massive community project & without the loved ones around us we wouldn’t even be thinking of taking this business off the ground! ❤️
